Either would be bad. But it is quite clear that AMD is yielding more chips than it can sell - effectively, an infinite number of chips.

Meanwhile, Intel evidently continues to have trouble shipping the higher speed grades.

Which really doesn't matter, since few people seem to be interested in high end chips from either company.

But Elmer's continued prattling about yields at AMD is rather slimey, since it is crystal clear, that whatever other problems they may be having, yields at AMD are more than fine.
