I'd especially hope that robv saw it, and perhaps he can more fully explain his view that wi-fi will pre-empt, and not complement 3g. Walt, with whom we have had our differences before clearly saw complementary roles for the systems, and it has always seemed to me that this would be true given that one offers mobility and one does not. Coming from someone like Mossberg (remember he's the guy that criticized America for allowing competing wireless standards instead of falling lockstep in tow with the GSM crowd) I was encouraged by what he had to say.
