Oh, please, I do more reading and analyzing on more different topics than you can imagine. My training in that regard is fine, but I don't pretend to have the technical wherewithal to solve equations, design networks, etc.

I read the stuff and I can make some basic comparisons. You obviously have technical training, so if there is any reason to suggest that CDG's release is a pack of lies say why.

I have no reason to disbelieve SKT's claim that it is getting 231 erlangs per sector using 1x. Do you? If that is an appropriate way to measure capacity, then Ryvasy's paper's measures need to be taken with a grain of salt.

It has been for a long time more or less a given that 1x is substantially more efficient for voice than GSM. Ryvasy's paper is the first time I've heard otherwise. Strong claims demand strong proof. He doesn't provide proof but CDG release does, using quotes from networks operating in the real world.

Tell me why SKT's figures are false.
