Prior to WW2 that same argument was used by supporters of nazi Germany.
Not relevant.

Very few of the people who attack Israel's policies on this thread are willing to attack the policies of the neighboring countries. We ask why the neighbors shouldn't be looked at with the same scrutiny they are using when viewing Israel? The response is usually the same. Israel is the cause of all injustices in the region. Forget that the monarchies of the neighboring countries are NOT very focused on improving the status of their citizens or the refugee "brothers" in their country. It's much easier to keep their populations in check by avoiding the internal strife issues within the surrounding Arab countries and keeping the focus on Israel. Only Jordan has come close to being reasonable and even they appear frightened of their own people should they find a peaceful settlement with their Israeli neighbors.

Haim, Of course the Arab countries are very far from perfect, and I certainly do find fault with them -- but Israel is supposed to be on a higher plane, and as such, I will hold Israel to much higher standards!
