The Japanese launched the attack on Pearl Harbor from aircraft carriers about 200 miles from Hawaii, which had been carefully manoeuvered outside the shipping lanes to avoid detection by the US military.

You might consider studying your topic before commenting on it, and making treasonous insinuations about the US Government.
