Eyewitnesses, yes. But a smart lawyer can for the right price hire psychologists who will testify that eyewitness testimony is not necessarily reliable. It isn't, really, unless corroborated.

Testimony is an interesting word. Roman origin, when a witness "testified", he put his "testes" on the line. No raising of a hand to take an oath, a grab of the scrotum, instead.
