I can't tell for sure because it seems to me that stocks that rise after earnings fall later making me think it was short covering.

Looks like pmcs has bottomed out fundamentally, but who knows about vtss? Acts like they will go under. Amcc should recover later than pmcs but they have enough cash to last years.

As for software. Seems as if merq and symc are weathering the storm, but I wonder if they may weaken later (like cien, telm and onis did.... remember the nicest mansion in a rotten neighborhood?)
