I'm not sure why you posted that to my attention but this is very old news- about a month old and it has been kicked around ever since. Of course the US doesn't have any covert spies in "friendly" countries around the world!?! It's very possible that these "Israeli spies" were doing what our government should have been doing - tracking and watching radical Islamic fundamentalist groups but I won't jump to any conclusion based on my limited knowledge of this case. Until 9/11/01, the US government was too busy spending billions upon billions in a futile effort against "drug cartels" when more of their focus should have been on the brainwashed masses of radical Islamists-- who would rather kill themselves and everyone around them than live in our world. Of course the Thomas Ms can always find a justification of their actions based on some warped idea of nationalism, Zionism or just simple oppression. You know, you've been oppressed so it's ok to go out and kill as many innocent bystanders as you can... go ahead, the Thomas M's of the world, they understand. The only way to stop injustice is to kill everyone involved. Yeah, that's right. Bomb the sh*t out of them, that'll teach them. At many times in the past, it appeared that our (the US) government would rather spend the bulk of their time and resources going after medical marijuana users and those who might support their cause-- people who are trying to improve the quality of their lives during what little time they have left on this planet-- than deal with the much more dangerous problem of radical Islamists. The Ashcrofts of this world would like nothing more than to put dying people in prison for 10 years for watering a plant - all in the name of justice, of course. Hey, but it's all for the kids!! Yeah, that's it. Anyone who's spent a day in the criminal courts of any major city will see hundreds of people go to jail for years for small time drug possession. It's a huge, big business. Bust the lowest, poorest, least educated segment of our nation's population, send them to jail during the most potentially productive time of their lives to rot..... But I digress.....oh, nevermind.... TGIF
