Records show the HALLIBURTON stocks were purchased on April 21, 1999, while Cheney was the chief executive officer of the giant, one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the petroleum and energy industries. The shares were sold eight months later for nearly $35,000, according the Schedule A form filed for the Barbra Streisand Foundation.
