Unfortunately that is not true. Bookings are not necessarily shippable immediately. Company's book equipment as far as a year in advance of when they expect to need it for their next process transition or fab coming online. And in most cases bookings can be cancelled or pushed back with no penalty.

3rd derivative has been negative for couple of months now. The second derivative will turn negative next month which will surely get people's attention.
