At least twice yesterday i mistyped yqr just like that, as ycr, which is something with the nicely evocative name of Carfinco ... the q-r combo makes me think of Queenstake .... but more embarrassing - seems i failed to tap the zero key the requisite number of times on my first order yesterday, so now, having just told the neighbour how much i'd bought and where, i find myself 9k shy of the mentioned number, and have some 'splainin to do

It was for the Red Lake properties that i first looked hard at Conquest this year ... right beside Goldcorp's Far East zone ..... they must have liked the 'far east' concept, to end up in Ky-stan, lol .... one thing i didn't like before about yqr is how they were scattered all over the planet, especially wondered about any chance they would shovel cash down that psycho-run hellhole that was once Rhodesia ... but they dropped that, wrote it off, so that's good .... Kyrgyzstan is probably the least political risk of all central Asia, far better than say British Columbia under the NDP, but still stuff could happen, wars and rumours of wars and the like .... so Jerooy might work out, it might not, still there is more to the company, Red Lake and Aurora etc, and this was in the back of my mind on entry

Roulston likes yqr -

'Update on Conquest (YQR) 04/19/2002

Question:
After a gain of 82% from your recent Instant Alert, Conquest has come back down. How
do you feel about YQR now?

Answer:
The company now has two very significant exploration projects in hot gold camps in
Ontario. They simply haven't done a good job of communicating with investors. I still
believe that one day soon they will get their investor relations program functioning
properly and this could be a big winner.
