IMO, if investors believed that, they'd be comfortable investing and wouldn't bail so fast. The market is either too high still, or doesn't have confidence in the powers that be, which includes the administration apparatus, Bush/Cheney/Pitt et al.

It may be too high for traditional PE ratios.
But the fast slide, right now, looks to me like a crisis of confidence, rather than a slow reconciliation over months of growth.

If so, I'm part of the same group, since I'm suspicious of even the economic growth numbers, and hypersuspicious of government-mongers in the white house.
