Searle, I was not trying to read your mind. Me thinks that it is all the fault of Bush. Ha! In reality it all started well before he came in office. It is neither Republican nor democrat---It is greed. Bill Clinton taught the politicians how to get around all the laws in order to get the most money for fighting the war against the repos. Now the CEO's have found ways around the laws to make them rich. Robert Rubin kept our dollar to high for too long in order to keep the demos in office. Now the repos will take the blame. Their problem is that they are to stupid to tell the truth as if they knew the truth. As bad as I hate to say it, I agree that the real culprits will escape.

Gold has to take out Hill 330. After that it cannot be stopped. I agree.

The bull in bonds is being caused by the drop in the dollar, and Greenspans inability to raise rates. It will go on for some time, but when rates start up, it will be like the markets today. DOWN---Sudden and viscious. Like the tech stocks, I will remain out of bonds (especially zero coupon) for now.
