Yes, you are correct in that I said: "I will not look at those shares till at least 2 years from now". But also when I said it I didn't expect Lucent to brake $2 and go down to $1.35. So when someone gives me the opportunity with 120% appreciation in value in just 2 weeks (very fast moves like that are not sustainable so it's important to take advantage of them when they happen), so I took the opportunity to take profits and redistribute on a pull back. Nothing goes up in a straight line. I have many LT shares of Lucent and only traded half of them, the shares that I bought in the low $2s, and I plan to get every one of them back by Monday/Tuesday. I'm an active trader and as such I also actively try and manage all accounts when opportunity allows (both ST & LT) like in this case. Good luck.
