Cheney's hoping it'll all just go away.

The only way that'll happen is if there's another terrorist event, a big one. And even then, not for long.

Otherwise, he's got to appear, and disclose.

Cheney has made no statement about Halliburton’s accounting or the SEC investigation, and his counselor, Mary Matalin, said he has no plans to. “The vice president is not remotely focused on this stale Washington politics,” she said. “He’s focused on his job" I wonder what his job is now that he's not using his position to screw the public while opening doors for his buds...
