Doug, I respect your opinions except I cannot agree that my distant relatives were monkeys. . is about, and if so we may be on the same page for how we view life. . If i'am on target with your beliefs, then you hold that your God is the creator the man & woman that are very seperate from plant, animals and other life forms in that only man & woman are held accountable by God to follow His ways as set down in the writings used to create what are knowned as holy books. Here i'am very clueless by design in that the names of Bibles and other holy writings i have keep myself in the dark. Eventhought i'am 100% Polish and Catholic as viewed by my family trees, i could not identify names and places of what is regarded as connected to various religions. For example i have absolutely no ability to match names and events with the most common religions mentioned in everyday conversations throughtout my 55+ years. Don't even know if the God of the many common American religions are the same but differ in the story and messages. To me its all the same, that there is a God that created mankind seperate from other living things for the sole purpose to prepare them for the journey taken after death. . So yes i do agree, or we do agree on, . Doug, I respect your opinions except I cannot agree that my distant relatives were monkeys. . in regards that this thing we identify as life for man was not a random by chance over a zillions years of single cells from the oceans to mix and match and go to 2 cells then a worm then a fish then a monkey then an ape than a man. . Nope, something which i know not what it is except it has the ability to create life, made man. Man did not by chance arrive using that random mixing and matching over a zillion years into a low life form and over more zillion of years take steps to increase its ability to use an ever better brain to what is now man. . Nope in that something once again i know not, but it does exist, and i think you call it your God, was in control totally even before the first single cell life form, be it plant or animal, appeared on Earth. . Actually, my views is that nothing was by chance in that life did not become to be by a combination of non life material, but that life from the simple plants and animals without a brain but just a nervious system, up to man all were created not by that chance coming together of non life material, but that all was directed and controlled by something that existed before anything we call life today. . My best thoughts to words is that our awareness of ourselfs as living has our body for reference, as we see hear touch, but our thoughts are not really inside our head in our brain, but our brain is like a receiver that is used for our reference while we the living thinking person exist not inside our brain as electrical impulses, but in a place not of this life, but where as you would say, God is. . For me it can be a God or something else, and upon death we will "awake" there and find out that Earth and our body were real only as thoughts, but real will then be realized as that place we cannot now have knowledge of except to call it a Heaven or Hell for most. And as i do not hold the view that a God exist via a religion, i do hold that something like a Heaven and Hell does await us all in that how we live among others on Earth determines our destination after death. d:oug .
