"So what really worries me, is that a falling stock market could eventually drag down whole economy. " SC, This concerns me too. I have a regular discourse with the typical Joe buying retail. I have never heard the typical Joe speak of the stock market more often. Most of these people are middle income with 401Ks and maybe 10 years from retirement. The last few weeks consumer spending, at least in my segment, has slowed. The feel is people are worrying about retirement.
