Goldsnow, I think the way Israel went about deposing those 13 top notch terrorists from the Church of Nativity seige has been applauded by all, including the Palestenians. The reasons their actions came in for such high praise because their measure were ounitive on the terrorists and not their families.

The question is should they punish the families even if the family members cheered from the sidelines. Let us considers US' actions after the WTC attack. It certainly is painful to see the Palestenians and the Jordanians and several others staning and cheering the WTC attacks. But the laws of the US does not say that it a crime to cheer and hence the US could not go and bomb them Instead they went after the Al Qaeda, the perpetrators of the crime not those who cheered and clapped. This situation in Israel should be viewed in the same manner
