No the American Dream is to own a part of our capitalist system and benefit from its success. To make it as they say. This is not greed but hope. What has been shattered is faith in the market system and the implied fairness that allowed it to operate. Repugs are not always right when they say we shouldn't regulate. The need for a little more regulation of corporate behavior has been made clear but W & Co just don't get it.

I was referring to the broader view of the American Dream, it's a happy family owning a home, nice cars, a good job and family vacations seeing America.
