I've never heard of a case where a possum had rabies but I guess it's possible. Fleas might be more of a problem.

WHH, Skunks seem to get rabies real easily, but like Ish said, I have never heard of a possum with rabies. Usually, the ones I have seen are pretty docile, but if the get cornered, they will fight, and have a nasty bite.
