HJM,re:"tempted...TXN". Do it. Make my day. Baring
any 'accounting error', it will go up when earning reports.
(ggg) don't quote me on this one.

The problem nowadays is: You don't know what IS is, so
how do you know what 'profit/loss' is?

The truth of the matter is: no one really knows what IS is.

Even the Enron, Worldcom guys claimed innocense.

These are top-brass talents, mind you. For a joe6pack,
stop dreaming, IT'S A FAIR GAME, only that you will never
win. If it's not obvious now, then we really have a problem.
That is, the bottom is nowhere near.

Any reporting is like: 'really? good jobs. thanks but no
thanks, let's dump this before the real thing shows up'.

Isn't there some "recent upgrade" on TXN? For xxx's sake,
I'm mentally damaged by the WS (can I sue?), I cannot trust
ANYTHING. When they say 'upgrade', my brain (whatever left
of ) says: 'upgrade for who'. For the Big-clients to dump.

Let's ignore the 'economic of the company involved', just
that some big-shot needs to raise money and they will have
to find a marketable merchandise to sell. Stock is still
easier to get 'cash' than RE (even though RE is going up).
Again, for a normal joe6pack/jane6pack, after all the costs
associate with RE, the one who make serious money is:
o the bank (financing)
o the title company (base on price, life is good)
o agent(s), again base on price, life is also good.
Any Johnny comes lately, thanks for holding the bag.
