Hi all! Just being cautious, but have held to an almost 30% loss.... would it be smarter to hold all, or sell with hope of a better gainer in a certain sector?.... I know its a risky market, but this slow sinking feeling is making me loco! 'shape

"Impossible to tell the bottom"

That's what everyone keeps saying, and up to a point I agree. I remember paper trading when the NASD was trying so hard to get over 1100 (that was about a year before we met on Doug's thread) I think that we may see just over that on the NASD, but the DOW has not had the same fall. So, I expect the NASD to hit its bottom long before the DOW does.

There was close to 7 billion out of stocks and into money market last week. The panic is beginning to set in evidenced by the emotion selling last week...the time is near. Thus the reason for my curtailment of fast trading...there will be more money made over the next 6 months holding long than trying to fast trade.

Presently I'm very long SUNW, ORCL, MSFT, NOK, NXTL, GFI, ACO, ORBT, PFE and GTW...a bit tech heavy, but all beaten up and ready to roll over the next year.
