The giant Wall Street elephant, once the most popular exhibit at the New York Zoo, and worshiped by all, is down on his knees.
Having suffered from a severe case of dysentery for several years the critter was placed in the care of Doctor Greenspan (DVM) who recommended and provided monthly injections to no avail.
The elephant continued to weaken
Congressmen came to observe and make recommendations. Some saying Viagra, some saying steroids,
some saying they would not get close to him in fear of a taxpayer revolt if he died from their treatment.
Being so big that no single person can observe the whole, some observers say to 'watch the tail' , while others are say the ears are most indicative of improvement.
.The Public is engrossed in the tragedy and informed on a minute to minute by the Networks of the vital signs
which dropped precipitously to life threatening lows in the last two weeks.
Congress has gone to work to develop a stronger dose of medicine before the public cancels all contributions to THE ZOO.
