I agree that there has been a swing of the pendulum so far to the bearish side that it is masking the true value of SUNW. I do criticize McNealy's reluctance to lay off more workers as a cost saving measure. His argument has been that in a "snap back" in demand for computer hardware he will not have to start to hire and train once again. This criticism has been made by Milunovich of ML.

Also, I believe that at the current stock price, they are at a value close to "book value" that is, the value of the assets of the company both tangible and intangible.

This leads me to believe that at these levels they are vulnerable to a take over by a stronger player. What do you think about valuation and headcount?
