except

random samples from those with earnings in your list:

DELL ttm 66 cents = PE 38
CSCO ttm 26 cents = PE 52
MSFT ttm 1.83 = PE 27

"without earnings":

QCOM ttm 86 cents
RATL ttm 26 cents
YHOO ttm 4 cents
GENZ ttm 1.05
NTAP ttm 11 cents
TLAB ttm 6 cents
FLEX ttm 62 cents
CMVT ttm 41 cents

etc, etc

sure many of these stocks are highly valued here but the picture is nowhere near as bleak as that post would lead someone to believe

earnings are also very depressed by the slow tech economy, many look awful right now but as that tech economy comes back they should look a lot better going forward...i know you think we are headed for the abyss and i of course disagree but at least let's use accurate data in presenting the picture of things as they are currently
