Yes, but not before the rest of the Script that you seemed to have fast-forwarded and thus skipped: Darn, how are we ever going to fit all of this into a two-hour movie? I'm reviewing the folk's finances, and here are two minor anecdotes. They got an unexpected sudden payoff on a real-estate limited partnership. The buyers wanted to escape the relatively high interest rate. And one of their better mutual funds (only down 25% since the top) decided to fold up and return the remaining principal. Decided they couldn't make any money in the current environment. And so we are stuck with investing more money in today's low-rate environment.

Jay and other economically minded folks on the thread... any opinion on this rather disjointed question???: Message 17769049 Hope I'm not getting off topic... but IMO now that I've covered most of my shorts [going much lower no doubt] I'm feeling like the GOLD play may be one of the last great plays left for a long time... but there are timing questions IMO. All comments welcome. DAK
