No. The slope of both the top and bottom lines stays the same and they include ALL the points. You must be drawing something wrong. If you want, you can draw the bottom trend line first from the low points that I mentioned, then duplicate it and move it to the top till it intersects the top points. You will see that it will include all the points within the channel. Good luck.
