Yes. And because of that, the thread's not worth even a bookmark.

Well, maybe he's grown up and realized his censorship was biased. I doubt it though, since he never offered an apology to me.

Here's basically what happened. Someone posted articles from Al Hunt and other well known liberal writers slamming Aschroft and Bush about military tribunals. So, I posted a few articles from well known conservatives like Rush Limbaugh and Pat Buchannan regarding the exact same subject but with a different viewpoint.

Then I was banned....

That's called censorship and political correctness.

I doubt you read many articles on foreign affairs from the National Review or other conservative sites there. What it basically comes down to is the Washington Post, N.Y. Times, or left leaning British papers. Otherwise, you're threatened with being banned via PM and other overt ways.

The conservatives who do post there, probably walk on egg shells in order to not get banned, while the liberal academia's types can say or do anything they please. Very similar to many college classrooms I've visited.

I'm not surprised you would find the place comfortable. After all, the censorship fits well with your political perspective.

I haven't been banned but that doesn't matter. When I asked if it might not be just tad rude and demeaning to refer to anyone with even a slight conservative bent as a "Right Wing Extremist" I was told in no uncertain terms by the leader of the FADG, who also happens to live in the Peoples Socialist City of Bezerkeley, that if I didn't like it I didn't have to participate.

IMO the FADG is strictly a liberal forum and conservatives are not welcome. I won't go there again. I couldn't care less what those Left Wing Loonies say or do. They ban opposing points of view, and in doing so restrict the intellectual process. Not worth a thinking persons time or effort.
