FCF ? Sure it does and further lower the cost of the business as you work with OPM instead of your own capital. DELL is not an appropriate example as there are few businesses that can work in accordance with DELL business model but does emphasis the "just in time" issue. Further my post was to give an indication to the benefits which arise from the new business model and did not want to touch all aspects as it would make it to complicated to understand. One more issue I wanted to bring up is the issue of commercial hedging which is now prevalent with each big corporation and was almost non existent 15 years ago. This change in doing business also shield to some extent the manufacturing company from price fluctuation of raw material and effects of currency exchange, but the main issues for improved profitability and FCF I posted before.
