ah, but that EACH started when we were in a bubble market, didn't it? which is why i went cash in early 2000 except for 1 big play and several small ones. the big play paid off big nd i sold... or woulda lost all the gains... and then some... b/c the market isn't nice now...

but, you didn't recognize the bubble... i agree, when the market is depressed or near fair value, you won't likely get a 26 year period of no gains. but those rules DID NOT APPLY in 2000. not even close.

bubbles ALWAYS end badly - no exceptions.
