Overall for the week ahead I'm cautious that Monday will be an inside day, not exceeding Friday's worst or bettering Friday's best. If that's the case the next few days will be weak (Dow avg.). Attempt to rally at end of week.

Jim, customers who picked WCOM are anti AT&T people. So as an alternative they would go to Sprint. Sprint is also hiring (not many, but not laying off) techies at its Kansas location. I have not seen any positions coming up for AT&T. AOL is migrating from WCOM to Sprint. On the other hand, AT&T handles WCOM's overflow traffic. When a WCOM fiber cut occurs, WCOM routes traffic through AT&T's network. So as WCOM cuts service they may make a deal with AT&T. Lawrence
