Good question. Theoretically if prices tumble without sellers then I believe whatever supply there is will just disappear as folks won't sell. This in turn stabilizes prices.

Because of that particular dynamic, unless folks are forced to sell I see home prices taking a long time to unwind. Like I said in my last post, a shock to J6P will be the key for that bubble to go poof.
