The ONE chart I'll be watching overnight is the Yen:Dollar chart. Heinz first pointed out on the Sunday before 04/17/00, that yen were being sold (as was gold, to a much lesser extent). The market gapped down, crapped a bit, then made a miraculous, futures-fueled rebound to close with a hammer, and got flogged higher into expiration that Friday. It'll be "interesting" to see if the same mechanism occurs tonight and tomorrow. If so, I'll definitely have my finger on the "cover and buy trash calls for a bounce" switch...<NG>

I'll try to find the link from the old thread where he commented on that. It was a magnificently astute observation.

EDIT: Yep, here it is, read this one and the series of replies Heinz made to the responses from Ice Shark. Excellent call on his part...
