Mine hasn't. I went from a 36% YTD gain 3 months ago, to one that is only 2% now. I'm not sure why my due diligence, which was so rewarded previously, is now worth nothing at all. Sure I am investing in a bad economy, with accounting problems, and terrorists that live across the street. But punish me if my companies miss estimates, or Enron their numbers, or if my company exec gets a special delivery from Mr. Ladden. I know I'll be fine in the long run, but it just peeves me that people are getting the opportunity to buy my fine companies at the same price I did, even though they've increased in intrinsic value since then.
