thecow, in MS DOS I typed what you said and get 'bad command or file name'. A search for pathping on the C: drive comes up empty.

thecow, I followed instructions on the AT&T web site exactly and pinged AT&T. Ping time was...

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 81ms, Maximum = 195ms, Average = 127ms

Seems slow for cable. Could you ping www.attbi.com and tell me your speed? Better yet, ping your ISP.
