I'm not sure we want worlds that different. Some differences, sure, but I don't seem them as major. Our own view are, of course, vastly different when it comes to religion, but we both want tolerance for other views, so that's now a world view difference. Our difference on the pledge issue is, IMO, mostly a difference of opinion on whether including the phrase "under God" as an option, with space for those who want to say it to do so and opportunity for those who don't to not say it, is accommodating differences, as I consider it to be, or coercive and unConstitutional inclusion of religion in a government sponsored activity, as I think you view it.
