Scumbria, the war on terror I think has a good backing from the world community. But it is the attack on Iraq without proof that he is linked to Al Qaida, it is changing the rules on WMD as the cause for an Iraqi attack etc. that is causing US to fall out in favor. I for one would like Saddam out but what is the reason to do so now. Cover op yeah. But why a war? Why so public? Simple, Bush wants something to show as gain. In a covert ouster, people would have to speculate US' involvement and that would not be to the liking of the Bush re-election committee strategists.
