He won't resign over the "scandal" most likely because he has no problem. Time will tell that story. But, his heart condition has to be a concern....

1)Why Not?...Pitt investigates Cheney

2) Cheney resigns (for the good of the party )

3) Bush pardons Cheney

Republicans have done this in the past...several times

A) Reagan's pardon of Secretary of Defense Casper Weingarten, after his resignation (Casper lied under oath to congress about Iran-Contra)

b) Ford's pardon of Nixon (Nixon lied about a lot of things)

The Republican Presidents have got the formula down pat.

1)Get in Office...lie, cheat, & steal...resign...and then get a Presidential pardon
