I wonder how many people who were sucked back in after 9-11 answering the call to "patriotism" are still sitting on their positions. After all the scams that have been unfolding on WS, they have to be either hiding in a forest or really, really mad.

action of LEH even on the rallies indicates the brokers are going to get whacked sometime in the next few days and whacked good. I got out and then got back in after no rally materialized -- fannie is another one that should continue to be shorted into the decline ... it's busted from a very long coil, too

this is priceless... 1:57PM Market Action : Short-sellers getting a little more volatility than they bargained for on a session that many speculated would be a "rollover day." Can be sure that shorts would prefer not to see anymore surprises like AXP's intraday earnings surprise. However, the damage may already be done. i certainly don't want to see anymore surprises like the down 9% in AXP today. i prefer my surprises to be of the COF down 30% variety <g> credit card trash rules!! Cheers
