I did the same thing two years ago (7% CDs, actually) with that portion of my mother's retirement account I control. After months and months of grumbling with every little market blip up, I'm now looking like a genius. Almost put her into 10% gold at the time, but decided I'd miss the home cooked meals too much ;-)

Why didn't you put me in cash?? 26 of 27 in the red! Down 9% overall. Could be time to fix bayonets! No time to panic. Just remember, sight alignment, sight picture and the gently squeeze them off.
