It is clear that 300 pts isn't going to do it for capitulation. I think we need 500-600 pts or more.

I was just telling one of my colleagues this, and his response was, "yeah right, how likely is that!?!".

I see this as a sure sign that we have a ways to go.

I just noticed something looking at that chart: trading volume really hasn't dropped during this bear market. At least not yet. It surely should after capitulation, so yeah, we've got a ways to go.
