i think the virulance of the political threads is a better indicator than the economic indicators. (or the vix <vbg>) i've been following them somewhat the last couple of weeks and (while i realize this is an election year) it seems that there is a sense of sharks smelling blood in the water. perhaps when the scapegoating reaches a fever pitch.....capitulation will come. :)
