blaming the president for this crappy market,

And rightfully so. Bush Jr's brilliant for any reason tax cut turned out just as we predicted, a complete waste trying to stimulate an economy that was running at full steam while destroying any idea of keeping revenue and expense in balance. You might think that Bush Jr. would try to keep even a little of the telecom industry in America, but NO! he wanted to prop up the aging oil sector instead. I don't know why anyone expected him to perform better on the economy than he did with his own bankrupt firms. Who's going to bail him and us out this time?

TP

" saying he hasn't done enough to fix the mess (that he inherited)... "

would you mind describing the "mess that he inherited". I saw , the lowest unemployment in decades, the highest number of employed in history, a budget surplus, a believeable forcast of the end to the national debt, the lowest crime rate in decades, no major wars with high casualties, prosperity better than any in our history, the lowest interest rates in decades, an end to the killing in Ireland, and a near end to the mideast carnage which quickly reversed under W.... We had an ABM treaty to limit nukes, an agreement to limit greenhouse gases to slow global warming, and very good relations with our allies and neighbors around the globe.... Most of that changed when W arrived....and here we sit, most of us worth 60-70% less than when W took over.....
