I probably should revise my post. Pure liberalism would eventually lead to anarchy and chaos. I don't believe this will happen barring a cataclysmic event. It should be conceded that even ultra-modern liberalism would have rules. Population, resources, and space are natural restraints for man. Liberalism however could still challenge many social taboos. Incest, bestiality, drug use, euthanasia, cloning, and selective sterilization at birth could be rationalized absent traditional moral values. At the same time parental and reproductive freedoms, freedom of where to live, freedom involving career selection, freedom of movement, and even the right to life for the old or infirm might come into question. Of course this is an extremely dismal picture which does not necessarily have to come to pass, but given the estimates for future population expansion there is at the least the increased likelihood of some very deadly wars. Regardless, there are some very sick people in this world which these links show.
