Widespread Panic? Isn't that what's going to happen if the market keeps this up a few more days?

(I have visions of fund managers literally shoveling stock certificates out the door. And us there to grab them!)

Glad to hear it, one must have other 'distractions'. <g>

Sadly, Panic's original guitarist has terminal cancer:

The show must go on.

And now with regards to the Market Panic,

I know we discussed the bottoming process late last August and were looking for those tell tale signs in the VIX, VXN, tics, trins, etc. We got those climaxes after 9/11.

During the past few sessions, we've had a return on the 'readings', thus, could this be another turning point? Not an 'all time bottom', but something more...er....tradable?

I've been in CREE and it is really amazing how well that has done lately, up nicely both Friday and today.

Other stocks in the tech arena seem 'washed out'. XLNX and BRCM come to mind, two shorts I enjoyed in June, but seem to have placed in bottoms after the earnings reports.
