So, did you sell your golds at the open as you wanted? I hope you did. Gold stocks (like GFI) got pummeled today.

gold rallied from last early autumn up to May
this is right thru its high season
and with some follow thru as the dollar fell out of bed

the gold consolidation will take longer than just the past 4 weeks

I think it woke up with the near zero Real Rate on shorterm TBills, now 1.75%
that is its traditional wakeup call, seen last autumn 2001
in every instance since WW2 whereby the Real Rate remained near zero for a stretch of several months, a gold bull rally ensued for a few years at least

it enjoyed a stealth bull rally last autumn leading into its strong season

it followed thru with the dollar falling out of bed this spring

not so surprising, to profitake and consolidate in its low season

lastly, with this free money Fed policy, we have begun the next new cycle
the emphasis and objective for the Federal Reserve will now be to REFLATE
they have obstacles now with strong deflation
but if our nation and its banking system is to prevail, the Fed must win and bring back some inflation

gold likes that

take it easy
any comments would be welcome
