But what about Queen Rania, she is Palestenian. Further, if JOrdan moves closer to the US then will that also influence Syria since the King and the young Assad were close buddies during their younger days studying in the UK. I am aware that there are some hardline extremists still entrenched in Syrai from the father's days. But the Foreign Minister of Syria is a moderate. Besides, did we not have some press reports about Syrai co-operating with the US and turning in some al Qaida suspects operting or taking refuge in Syria?
