'web-enabled client/server' A phrase which I think properly characterizes some company's offerings, but not Siebel's. In what way does Siebel help me integrate my view onto data beyond the Siebel sphere? How does it let me view the inventory levels at a supplier so that I can answer a customer delivery question? View of such data is provided by a rather rich set of integration tools, many of which require no programming. Management of such data is, of course, not part of the Siebel intent.
