I agree, we aren't even sure of rules. Previously, a major war was unthinkable because of the roaring stock market and fear of derailing it. We might reach a point hear where war will be considered a cure and not a cause. Not necessarily Bush prosecuting it either. Could be his successor.

Meanwhile gold is in danger of falling below 220 again. According to the gold indexes, it never was above it this time around.
