The big problem with the left is the massive damage they have done to the social fabric of the US. Liberal ideas about child rearing, sex, education, political correctness, crime, welfare, personal responsibility, personal cleanliness, drugs, foreign policy, etc, etc, ..... have done immense damage to the American psyche. How many children's lives have been ruined simply because all the adults in their life were afraid to impose any standards or expectations on them, afraid to punish them, afraid to guide them, afraid to teach them the fear of God, afraid to teach them about God's love, afraid to teach them that it is OK to be proud, afraid to teach them that it is OK to be strong, afraid to teach them that it is OK to win? In short, liberals have ursurped all the wisdom of the ages, and have led much of the American population into a state of depressed, clueless, obese, agnostic, mental and physical weakness. It is very fortunate that the US has leaders like Bill Bennett, Jack Kemp, Dick Armey and Tom Delay who understand the need to teach children about morals and responsibility. Having said that, my big disagreement with the right centers around Bill Clinton, whom I believe was on target about many, many important issues. The US would be in a much better state now if the right had of cooperated with him, instead of spending 8 years dragging the country down trying to run him out of the White House.
